root.help is a knowledge exchange platform providing practical and concise DIY guides. It aims to reduce reliance on hegemonic infrastructures by fostering practices of sufficiency. Through field research and technological experiments, the author explored how reappropriating a large language model could enable the synthesis and diffusion of down-to-earth knowledge.
